EVOLUTION
Ultimately, people believe what they want to believe. People who abandon God want to believe something that accounts for their existence apart from God. So the theory of evolution is embraced, with all of its unfounded so-called scientific conclusions, and the direct revelation of God is ignored. Evolution (which is theory, not science) is a natural by-product of humanism.
